Go up through the picturesque alleyways then walk along the footpath as far as “Garides” then “Col de Toutes Aures”. Walk back down near St André en Royans to go via La Croix then Le Murier and La Vieille Eglise.

In St André at the graveyard follow La Guibaudière then Le Bel to join Pont en Royans.

Start from Pont en Royans to the “Pont Picard” (the bridge). Turn right and follow “Rue du Merle” (this street runs parallel to the road to St Jean en Royans). Take the stairs of the narrow alleyways in the village. You will walk along a footpath which take you as far as the “Vernaison” river and its white waterfall ( La Cascade Blanche ).
Go back via the same footpath.

Sentier du Martin Pêcheur

Drive from Pont  en Royans
to St Romans
( 10 km ) and follow the D 518 road then cross the village of St Romans on the way to St Marcellin. About 2 km from St Romans park your car near the Pont de Beauvoir bridge (just before crossing the bridge over the Isère river).

Village de Choranche

 (car park in the center) on the way to La Ranconnière , you will get to the car park of the Choranche caves.

Abri de la Goulandière – Belvédère du Ranc

Along this marked path you will find a museum about a old disused village since about a hundred years and a splendid viewpoint to the Belvedere.

Drive from Pont en Royans on the way to the Bourne gorges (road D 531) then about 1 km turn left on the way to Presles (road D 292). 1 km before the village of Presles go right on the way to Le Charmeil – Rencurel. A small forestry road will take you to La Siva , start of your walk.

Park your car on the car pak and walk during 1 km until the Abri de la Goulandière (Shelter of the Goulandiere). Then via the GR 9 (long-distance and National trail) you will join the Belvedere of Ranc.

Go back via the same footpath.
